Dava Sobel on the Sun

Author Dava Sobel in her book Planets, says of "The glorious Sun of our time, the planets progenitor and chief source of energy, embodies 99.9 percent of the mass of the Solar System. Everything else ---all the planets with their moons and rings, plus all the asteroids and comets -- account for only 0.1 percent."
Obviously in our solar system the Sun is the most massive things we know. Yet the Psalmist asks the question, "what is man that you [God] are mindful of him?" Conscious that God takes note of man is an immense thing. Standing outside at night looking at the splendor of the heavens and realizing that of all thing things that I am aware of account for only 0.1% of the Solar System speaks again of the amazing God who actually chooses to take note of me.

Me too. Am I missing something with "deckwood" or is it a really clever play on DEC and Wood?

OK, so NB and I were talking last night, and we're both wondering if you guys came up with deckwood, or was it suggested to you? How long have you been thinking about it? I'm guessing you've had it in your pocket for quite some time just waiting for a chance to use it. Am I right? Or did the two of you sit down and discuss starting a blog and come up with it together after much thought?
